Little Critter McGraw Hill First Reader Titles

Give Your Child the Gift of Reading

Kids who want to learn to read will love learning with Little Critter. I have three kids and they all learned to read with Little Critter. He has a way of keeping their attention while ‘teaching’. They can relate to his experiences and reactions. His struggles as a little critter are struggles they face as little children. Friendship squabbles, bully badgering, sister and new baby situations he’d rather ignore, messy rooms and early bedtimes – all part of growing up. Kids will relate extremely well and when you want them to learn to read, keeping their attention with the choice of material is an advantage. Besides, Little Critter is so adorable.
